Plenary Oral
Plenary Oral presentations are intended to showcase key scientific findings and perspectives. Each presentation consists of a 12-minute talk followed by 8 minutes of discussion period. Presenters are expected to emphasize the novelty, broader relevance, and implications of their research, ensuring slides are concise and visuals are clear. Presentations should be comprehensible to an interdisciplinary audience, prioritizing results, insights, and future directions.
Presenters will be contacted by the chairs in order to secure a good discussion.
Guidelines:
- Duration: 12 min talk + 8 min discussion.
- Structure: Brief introduction/background → Main results/findings → Broader perspective.
- Slides: Clear visuals, minimal text, professional design.
- Submission: pptx or pdf format, in English, by the deadline. LOC will provide the link to upload the submission 1-week prior to the assembly.
- Adherence to allotted time is mandatory; session chairs will strictly monitor.
- Format Instructions:
- Aspect Ratio: 16:9 landscape mode (preferred)
- Font & Graphics: Ensure all text/graphics are readable from a distance.
- No Extra Media: Avoid videos/animations/sound unless explicitly allowed.
Flash-Oral Presentation (one-minute oral flash presentation)
The format for the one-minute oral flash presentation involves a concise, tightly structured approach focused on highlighting research significance, objectives, and key outcomes. Forum Oral (1-min) presentation is more of an introductory presentation, so be creative and make your work memorable to the audience rather than delving into detail.
Presenters will always get time to interact with interested participants during the poster/video-interview session.
Presenters should be seated in the first line of the plenary room during their flash presentation session in order to minimize the time of the speaker change.
Guidelines:
- The total presentation time is strictly limited to one minute; rehearsal is recommended to ensure clarity and impact.
- Use Maximum of 1-2 slides only (including title slide). Do not overcrowd with text; focus on key visuals/graphics and crucial bullet points.
- slides should support the answer to four questions (if applicable) related to the work: WHO (who is the research group), WHY (which is the scientific question), HOW (which is the methodology adopted), WHERE (where the case study is located)
- Format Instructions:
- Use the official Presentation Template (mandatory).
- Font & Graphics: Ensure all text/graphics are readable from a distance.
- No Extra Media: Avoid videos/animations/sound unless explicitly allowed.
- Contact: End with a poster location/number so interested attendees can follow up..
