The XIIth Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) will be proudly hosted by IIT Roorkee, in collaboration with NIH Roorkee, IRI Roorkee, and CBRI Roorkee. The event will take place at the Convocation Hall of IIT Roorkee.
The Convocation Hall, a premier venue for significant academic gatherings, boasts several outstanding features to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for all attendees:
- The hall is equipped with 1,827 cushioned chairs, each with a foldable seat and push-back mechanism, providing exceptional comfort and flexibility.
- A centralized HVAC system utilizing advanced chilled water cooling technology maintains an optimal environment throughout the event.
- Modern LED lighting with a dimmer facility controlled through a Building Management System (BMS) allows for customizable lighting settings to suit various needs and preferences.
- The hall features newly installed fire-resistant doors, replacing the previous wooden doors, to ensure enhanced safety for all participants.
