Cool Tools for Research: What’s Useful, What’s Next

This workshop, organized by the Young Hydrologic Society (YHS) India, is aimed at introducing and equipping researchers with tools and approaches that can make research easier, more efficient, or more enjoyable. We’ll cover a mix of practical tools—some you may already use, and some that might be new or worth exploring. The focus is on tools that are trending or gaining popularity in the research community and share them widely with the Early Career Researchers—things like tools for data handling, scientific writing, collaboration, project management, or workflow organization. This workshop will be interactive and also provide space for participants to share their favourite research tools with others. A quick hands-on activity or demonstration will also be included during the session. While the workshop is especially beneficial for early career researchers, participants at all career stages are warmly welcome to join.
