IAHS 2025: Full Steam Ahead with Unified Efforts in Roorkee

The Local Organizing Committee of IAHS 2025 continues to meet regularly, and we’re happy to report that preparations are progressing smoothly. We are ready to welcome the global water science community to Roorkee!

All organizing institutes—IIT Roorkee, NIH Roorkee, CSIR-CBRI, and IRI Roorkee-are working closely in an integrated and collaborative manner to ensure a world-class experience for all delegates. This unity reflects the shared vision and commitment to make IAHS 2025 a landmark event.

Moreover, various departments of IIT Roorkee have appointed Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) who are coordinating across administrative, logistical, and academic domains. These SPOCs are reporting through a streamlined structure, ensuring IIT Roorkee’s comprehensive involvement and institutional strength at every level.
