A coordination meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Prof. K.K. Pant (Director, IIT Roorkee) to assess the progress of the XIIth Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS 2025) and strengthen collaboration among all organizing partners. The meeting brought together key representatives from IIT Roorkee, NIH Roorkee, CBRI Roorkee, and IRI Roorkee, ensuring that preparations for the event remain on track. The discussion focused on reviewing updates, addressing key milestones, and streamlining efforts for the successful execution of IAHS 2025.
The meeting was attended by Dr. M.K. Goel (Director, NIH Roorkee), Prof. P.K. Ramancharla (Director, CBRI Roorkee), and Er. Sudhir Kumar (Chief Engineer & Director, IRI Roorkee), along with other members of the organizing committee, including Prof. Sumit Sen (Chairperson, Head, Dept. of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee), Prof. D.S. Arya (Convener, Dept. of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Ankit Agarwal (Convener, Dept. of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Manoj K. Jain (Organizing Secretary, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Brijesh K. Yadav (Organizing Secretary, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Ashutosh Sharma (Organizing Secretary, IIT Roorkee), and Prof. Nitin Khandelwal (Treasurer, IIT Roorkee). Representatives from the coordinating institutes also participated in the discussions, including Dr. Y.R. Satyajit Rao (NIH Roorkee), Dr. Archana Sarkar (NIH Roorkee), Dr. Anindya Pain (CBRI Roorkee), and Er. Ajay Kumar (Superintending Engineer, Design Circle, IRI Roorkee).
